Scott brings over 30 years of frontline experience as an active member of the NSW Rural Fire Service. This long-standing commitment to community service gives him a deep and personal understanding of the challenges faced by RFS volunteers, firefighters, and their families — making his role on the Benevolent Fund Board both professionally informed and personally meaningful.
In his professional life, Scott is a Contracts Manager in the construction industry with director-level experience holding both executive and non executive board roles across the sector. He is also Vice President of the Civil Contractors Federation.
Scott specialises in corporate governance and compliance, risk management, financial oversight, strategic planning, and crisis and incident management, with more than 25 years in one of Australia's most demanding industries.
